Lauralei misses Ethan

Tonight is the first time that Ethan has stayed over at a friends' house. He's stayed with friends and family when I've given birth but not just going over to be with a friend. I was thinking of him missing us but didn't think about the fact that Lauralei has been with her brother pretty much every night of her whole life. When it came time for bed, she began to sob for her brother. I texted my friend Jo and asked her to please ask Ethan if he could call her and tell her goodnight. A few seconds later the phone rang. "Hi Mom. Can I talk to Lauralei?" It was Ethan. Then I hear her say, "Ethan I miss you." I don't know what he said to her, but she was happy after that. I am so grateful for their relationship. I pray every night that all 4 of them will be good friends, have things in common, and support each other. People ask me if they are really as close as they seem and the answer is yes.
