the little things (which are actually huge to me)

I usually start school promptly at 9:00am.  Today I was busy changing Kinleigh and was going to be a few minutes late.  On their own, Ethan and Lauralei began on time.  We have been saying the pledge of allegiance and the Lord's prayer every morning.  They did both by themselves and even included the Littles as well.  They were so proud because they were able to say the prayer all by themselves for the first time without my prompting.  They ran upstairs to tell me and then replayed the whole thing so I could see it for myself.

Positives for the day, the little things (which are actually huge to me): eager kids to learn, realizing the importance of starting on time and sticking to it without me, saying the entire Lord's prayer, sharing the information with their siblings, feeling proud of themselves for learning something, having a desire to share their accomplishment with me, me being there to be in the moment with them.  Thank you Lord for this opportunity!
